Pastor Greg Baker

Pastor Greg Baker and his wife, Danielle, have a burden to reach Utah with the gospel of Jesus Christ. And both feel a strong connection to the West – Greg first experienced ministry on a mission trip to Sandy, UT when he was 17; Danielle moved to Idaho Falls, ID when she was 12 and to Loveland, CO when she was 15.

They met at Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC and were married in May of 2004. Both finished their formal education at BJU in the spring of 2008: Greg with a PhD in Theology and Danielle with an MS in Counseling. Before becoming pastor of FBC, Greg served as a Youth Pastor in Blue Springs, MO for two years. Greg and Danielle have three children: Paton (5/2009), Charlotte (2/2012), Schaeffer (1/2014), and Grace (11/2016). They root passionately for the South Carolina Gamecocks, enjoy all-things outdoors, and love to fellowship with other believers around the dinner table.

Pastor Baker is committed to expository preaching of the Bible, in which the Bible is read, explained, and applied to daily living. The verses he would like to describe his ministry are 2 Peter 3:17-18, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.”
